Great Recipe Ideas!

Cannon's Teriyaki Salmon

We like to use a nice tail piece of salmon for this recipe.  They are really tasty and most importantly the big tails don't have those pesky bones.

Cover the bottom of a frying pan with Cannon's Teriyaki Sauce (garlic & ginger).  Place the salmon skin side down, into the pan and cook on a medium heat.  Cook approximately 6-7 minutes on each side depending on how rare you would like it.(or a third through at the thick end on both sides)  When you flip the salmon to cook the other side, peel off the skin and maybe poor a little more sauce on it.  The trick is to turn up the heat at the very end of cooking to caramelize the sauce.  Serve the salmon with rice and salad.  Poor the remaining sauce in the pan over your salmon and Enjoy!!

Healthy Pizza with Maple Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce,

Using a flour tortilla, spoon the BBQ sauce on and spread evenly.  Use cooked cubed or shredded chicken, spring onions, and mozzarella cheese. Salt n pepper. Place in the oven and cook for just under 10 minutes at about 200 degrees, just until the outside edges of the tortilla have begun to crisp.

The Real Deal  BBQ Ribs

This is the best way to make BBQ ribs, there are no shortcuts.  Go to your local butcher and ask for pork ribs cut in half so the ribs aren't so long, and tell him to leave a descent amount of meat on it. Boil the ribs for 45 minutes to 1 hour.  Remove from the water. Pat dry and baste with Cannon's OLD OAK BBQ SAUCE.  The maple hickory smoke is designed to be on ribs so we recommend using that one.  Now really baste the ribs all over leaving not a spot uncovered.  Place on the BBQ and CONTINUE to baste while cooking (this part is the most important).  Cook until the sauce is caramelized to your liking, And Enjoy, you can thank us later!

Other things we love to do with our sauces.....

With the teriyaki, try poring it over chicken pieces and placing them in an oven bag, and then slow cooking them. You will will end up with tender pieces of chicken caramelizes in the teriyaki sauce. Or ! take a whole onion and cut it into rings and put them in a non stick pan and cook them with the teriyaki until soft and caramelized.

With the BBQ sauce, try throwing a dash into your next spaghetti dish. Or use it in your next crock pot dish and slow cook with it for 5 or 6 hours. Try venison, its delicious. Pepper-corned lamb shanks is another delicious treat.
